Way to do Bhramari Pranayama

  • Sit in any quiet environment. Sit in any comfortable posture to meditate.
  • Close the eyes and relax the whole body for some time.
  • During the practice keep the lips lightly closed and the rows of teeth slightly separated. By doing this, the sound is heard more clearly.
  • Close the ears with the index finger or middle finger.
  • If using easy to do nadusanashan, close the ears with the thumb and place the remaining four fingers on the head.
  • Take a long deep breath and then exhale, gently press the cartilage.
  • If you want, you can press and hold the cartilage or release it and then press while exhaling again.
  • While doing this process, make a buzzing sound like a honey bee.
  • It is more beneficial to keep the sound higher. If this is not possible for you, then you can also keep the sound low.
